Vandfaste - kvalificering af påståede sundhedsmæssige fordele

Min nysgerrighed har drevet mig til at eksperimentere lidt med vandfaste.
Særligt fordelene (væksthormon, autofagi) ved 24 timers faste synes at være velunderbyggede.

Men jeg kunne godt tænke mig lidt cementering eller dementering af påstandende udover de 24 timer, som de f.eks. er beskrevet i videoen her:
