If it's possible to do at home with no access to a barbell or rack, then we may have a deal.
Do I need extra bells? The home gym includes 2x16 cast iron, 2x20 competition, 1x24 and 1x32 cast iron and a few small ones.
Of course it is! Strength training on the side is fine but not essential for GS.
My best results came from training at home in 2010 in preparation for VM. Kettlebells, bodyweight and rope skipping were all I did.
As soon as my powerlifting adventure is over in June, I'm not going to touch a barbell for a while.
I do plan to keep doing heavy farmers, so I'll buy a set of bars, but otherwise I have enough toys at home.
You'll need 2x24kg comp bells if you plan LC or just 1x24kg if you're planning snatch. I wouldn't recommend both disciplines.
Have you seen the
