Kenneth Jay, RKC Posted August 31, 2005 Report Share Posted August 31, 2005 forgot to say: thats just my opinion, I do not claim that it's the only way to perform the snatch... just my vision...and on the second videoclip, the athlete(I guess it's Kenneth Jay) does not rotate the kettlebell, so he has to use the grip right at the start of the lowering... and besides, after flipping the bell, he has to "catch" the kettlebell" which is taking some more grip energy...probably he just has not any problems with grip yet... just my opinion...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Now that my goal is to compete in GS I have switched to a more energy efficient path of the kettlebell including rotating the bell./Kenneth Jay<{POST_SNAPBACK}>that's good what's your current result in snatch?Andrey<{POST_SNAPBACK}>My best result in the snatch is 60 left/57 right with the 32kgI am currently working on getting my numbers up in the Jerk which is stalled at about 25-30reps (2x32kg) mostly a technical problem I suspect...The result that I am probably most proud of is 100 double snatches (2x24kg) in 9 min. 54 sec. without setting the bells down...I still have a long way to go.../KJ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Men hvis jeg koncentrere mig om at "trække" den ned mellem benene mindsker jeg afstanden mellem dem og min krop, og jeg kan faktisk holde min positur.Er jeg for svag til to kugler (16kg) eller skal jeg bare huske at "trække" dem ned?ps. den artikel der er blevet linket til er da lidt af en blandet landhandel. Manden modsiger jo sig selv flere steder. Fx. siger han: "Modstand er modstand ergo dur en kettlebell ikke til progresiv forøgelse af intensiteten" og siger senere "Øvelser kun med kropsvægte er gode, da de kan laves på måde der har forskellig intensitet. Det fungere jo fint.Måske er den forkortede nedtursbane en mellem station mellem Clean-nedtur og så den helt store svingom?Ja der er hæftige krafter i gang når man double snatcher... og især sænkningen bliver udfordrene hvis man bare lader dem falde..Personligt synes jeg at sænke dem til skuldrene først er fint hvis man ikke kan kontrollere nedturen helt på den anden måde. I sidste ende kunne man brige de forskellige stilarter ved forskellige typer arbejde.. low rep/volume double power snatches kunne typisk være en situation hvor man kunne gøre det på den "hårde" måde og ved high rep kunne man sænke dem til skuldrene...Der er ikke noget rigtigt eller forkert her som jeg ser det..../KJ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
