Jeg synes dog at TJ´s WSB inspirerede BB program (den såkaldte hybrid) virker mere hypertrofi orienteret, og stadig har udgangspunkt i WSB principperne. Reelt er der jo ikke mange (bryst) sæt i Marions program, som fokuserer primært på hypertrofi. Såvidt jeg kan se, er det kun de 2x5 "supplemental" sæt pr uge, som for alvor betyder noget i forhold til hypertrofi. Men ok - 10 sæt plus ME og DE er selvfølgelig også en del... TJ´s model benytter dog flere "hypertrofiteknikker" (supersæt, failure, akkulumeret volumen) og arbejder generelt med højere rep range. Det er jo ikke et 100% hypertrofi-orienteret program, men også med fokus på at bringe bænkpresset op. Og så er det vel nyttigt nok med en DE-dag...? Eller hvad? ptpoul Posted December 17, 2005 Report Share Posted December 17, 2005 Speed træning, kan sagtens have sin plads i et hypertrofiprogram, jeg syntes bare på ingen måde at det er optimalt at nøjes med det.Så kender vi hoppebolden igen Men det har begrænset anvendelse, da det isolerede hypertrofi potentiale er småt, og forbedret neuralt drive kan optrænes på andre mere hypertrofi skabende måder.En hurtig liste fra hoften:Isomtrisk træning,Partielle bevægelser med supramaksimale vægte,negativer,god gammeldags tung træning (især hvis fokus er på maksimal koncentrisk løftehastighed). I am sick of people tagging this to their work especially when they have never stepped foot in the gym. They need to understand Westside is more than a program, far more. I have seen BB use Westside and have seen how Mike Francis used it when he was coming in the gym. This article does not represent anything close to what he did. I don't even know what to say. I am at a loss for words. I personally see shit like this as a disservice to what Westside is and what it stands for. If it had a different title then I may feel different.
